Commissioned for the Tinker Creek Project, this work draws on Annie Dillard’s “Pilgrims at Tinker Creek” novel. It’s a reflection on seeing and being present in the moment. Installed at Noel C. Taylor Municipal Building in Roanoke, VA.

Doug was awarded First Place in Sculpture by the American Artists Professional League Spring Members Show, 2025. This piece was inspired by my little buddy, Douggie—a soulful presence and daily reminder of unconditional love.
